Cold Lake is the closest hospital from the Settlement which is 39 kilometres away and about a 20-25 minute drive. Our local community hall does have an office for our nurse that attends to all seniors and members that have disabilities so that they do not have to travel into Cold Lake or Bonnyville; this makes easier on them. We do have nurses that come on to the Settlement for yearly needles; Flu-shot is the main one and lately the H1N1 needle was being distributed at the community hall. Cold Lake has a Health Unit that people in the community are more then welcome to walk-in whenever needing to.
